Confess sesh

It's Wednesday, you know what that means.  I get to word vomit all the confessions I have been saving up for this week and link up with Kathy to share them with you. Who's excited?!?!?

//I confess: I wore earrings for the first time in so long today, solely to distract from the fact I did not wash, or brush my hair, or even attempt to fix the pony I slept in. But my eyeballs look pretty today, so I still got a compliment from Bradley when I left the house. #winning.

//I confess: I finished a jar of pickles earlier this week and I wanted to drink the juice but other people were in the room and I didn't want to get made fun of.

//I confess: I have regretted the above decision ever since. This also reminds me I need to pick up more pickles tonight. #obsessed

//I confess: I was more sad than I should have been when I heard it was the last day for Dave on the KINK morning radio show. I did not call in and cry like some of the other listeners though.  In my defense, I do listen to him pretty much every morning on the way to work. It's the end of an era.

//I confess: it's taking alllllllll of me (said in my best John Legend) to not go home and make this pie tonight.

//I confess: I got far too excited when I found out a good friend of mine is getting butcher block counter tops in the home she just purchased! I don't think you realize how much I love butcher block counter tops. I could spend days on pinterest and design websites looking at pretty kitchens like this one

//I confess: I went shopping and had dinner with a bestie and her little boy this week and her son is just too, too cute. I was also exhausted by the end of the night. The little guy has far too much energy for me.  All the moms out there, you impress me. #bestkindofBC PS. Don't forget about Mother's Day this weekend either. Moms are pretty much awesome. They deserve the respect.

//I confess: Sometimes I start to get a little panic-y when all the people around me are doing crazy things like buying houses, and having kids, getting married, and being grownups and I am still over here just being awesome and not doing all those things. Am I doing this wrong? Did I miss a memo about what the proper timeline is to do all those things? How do people have money for those things? I am getting sweaty just thinking about it all. I am off to go look at pictures of puppies to calm me down.

Cheers!

The earring confession made me laugh, whenever I don't want to shower/brush my hair I'm just like "I guess I'm wearing eyeliner today" because somehow that distracts from it all right?!

Pickles. All the pickles. The day I got a free container of pickles with my sandwich at Panera was like winning the damn lottery.

I'm one of those weirdos who doesn't like pickles. However, luckily for anyone who is eating with me, they get the ones off my plate!

OMG pickle juice is the bomb.com (does anybody say that anymore?!).

Just yesterday I ate a pickle at a restaurant and it was so amazingly good. I don't know why, but I always seem to love restaurant pickles the best, most brands of store-bought just don't do it for me.

I confess I hate the John legend song. I confess washing your hair is overrated!

I like your fun pony. My aunt used to say the best solution for a bad hair day is a low cut blouse. Ha!

Happy Hump Day

Would you use a cutting board on top of the butcher block counter tops? I've always wondered...

First off- screw timelines! Life is more fun when you live according to your own. Also, you don't have to deal with roofing problems, yard work, poopy diapers, and never getting any sleep. The pickle thing made me laugh out loud. Make the pie. I spend a ton of time with my nephew and it is the best bc ever.

I showed Sam a pin of a kitchen with butcher block counter tops and he pretty much died and said that that's what we're putting in our future home.

gimme that pie.

Firstly, You're gorgeous, messy pony and all.

Secondly, there is no "official timeline". If you're happy or at least working to make yourself happy then you're on track!

Glad to know I am not the only person who loves to drink the pickle juice! Also, a pickle wrapped in some ham is delicious, try it!

The earring comment reminded me that for some reason I woke up in the middle of the night last night in a panic because my earrings were missing. They were apparently some important pair that I had borrowed. Like I legit turned on the light & searched my bed. I haven't worn earrings in weeks.

Also, there is NO shame in drinking pickle juice. Something you should try if you drink is pickle shots. Some bars will mix them but it's supposed to be a shot of vodka followed by a shot of pickle juice. It makes the alcohol taste/burn go away & all you're left with is the pickle juice flavor.

No one has money for kids, you just have them anyway and in my case not until you are almost 34.

And yes they possess way more energy than you will ever find, that's why you buys toys and games they can play on their own!

I totally got a jar of picked green beans from Costco the other day...so like they are Costco size and a half of the jar is already gone....not sorry at all. Girl from my post from the other day babies are soooo long off!

I might have eaten an entire jar of pickles in less than a week. I love some pickles. Only when they are crunchy though!

I am not even clicking on the pie link. I want all of the sweets all of the time....but must resist!!!

I have noticed more and more of my friends are having kids on purpose these days...and I am all like ummm have you met my dogs? Those are my kids. I think there is no proper time line, when it is right for you is when you should. Or never...that is what I am thinking about human kids. haha!

Love the hairstyle! I do the same, except in a messy bun...okay, more like a hairy nest.

♥ Duckie.

P.S. I watched reruns of the Big Bang Theory last night with a jar of pickles in my lap. AND I dunked those suckers back in the jar after every bite to soak up more juice. BOOM.

I have my heart set on butcher block counter tops some day. Screw granite, give me the wood.

I HEAR YOU. I might be married, but we don't have a house or kids or plans for either. All we want is a dog. I get it, I so do.
