25 and snow flurries

25 degrees and snow flurries don't happen very often in Portland, but when they do it makes me happy. It reminds me of when I was little and lived in the middle of nowhere mountains and got snow every year. Too bad I have to sit at work all day and not by my fire place with hot chocolate. Good news is, I sit by the window and I currently have coconut milk - mint chocolate creamer in rotation for the morning coffee. Mix that with my Christmas Playlist and I am happy.

Also, last night I went out and got my Christmas cards and picked up wrapping paper from Target. Brad laughed at how long it took me to make a decision when it came to which Christmas cards I wanted. I am never, ever going to be able to plan a wedding at this rate if that day ever comes. So many choices. I don't want them to say Christmas, because WHAT ABOUT M Y JEWISH FRIENDS?! I don't want them to be over the top or tacky. Not my style. Also, decided I wanted my theme to have gold. I finally decided on two options and am going to send them out this weekend...I hope.

On top of Christmas cards, this girl is hoping to go see some Christmas lights and put up the rest of her decorations now that we are back from Indiana - too bad our house is a wreck. Probably need to clean first, it looks like a war zone ever since our bags finally arrived.

And people keep asking what I want for Christmas and I still don't really have any ideas. I mean there are always things I want, but then I always feel pressure / guilty when people ask ! Just surprise me?  Or better yet, get me something off this list. I will take the 1,000 bucks or the pet puppy with the peace sign collar, please.

In honor of my Holiday Cheer I am leaving you with this #backthatazzup song.  Yes, it's Chris Brown and he is a doucher, but I just can't stop listening to it.

This Christmas - Chris Brown by Chris Brown on Grooveshark

Cheers!

As you may or may not have been able to tell from my tree pictures yesterday, my house is a wreck. I feel your pain there.

Christmas cards, gah! I sent them last year to some blog friends, and have the intention to do it this year too (so, gimme your address). I think I'm going to pick some up on my lunch break today - you've inspired me.

Happy Friday!

It took me like 30 minutes to pick out Thank You cards haha. Sometimes it's better when there aren't that many options.

I heard there was snow in Portland this morning - fingers crossed it makes it way north of you! I want snow so bad! Honestly, if it's cold, my theory is there should be snow, otherwise, I'm not going out. Brrr! Christmas cards take me a good amount of time too! Hahaa.

I'm glad you recognize that Chris Brown is a douche.

At least it's Friday so you'll be home, sitting by your fireplace soon!

I can't wait to get our decorations up this weekend! I like that you're liking gold, it falls perfectly into my secret santa gift to you!

I wanna come be with you. I'm tired of the -20 degrees I keep waking up to and my wet hair freezing solid in the twenty seconds it takes to run to my truck.

and THAT LIST!! I about lost it yesterday when I was reading that. so so good.

My house looks like a war zone since returning from Thanksgiving travel too! And I made it worse by pulling out all my Christmas boxes and decorating. I should have taken your advice and cleaned first, oh well! Have a fun weekend my friend!!!

So, have you seen the movie where Chris Brown sings this? (pretty sure the movie is called This Christmas) Really dramatic- not gonna lie, I was glued when I watched it several years ago...

I'm a freak about picking out wrapping paper for Christmas and I seriously agonize over it forever. I used a lot of bags last year so I still have tons of paper left so I don't have to deal with that stressful decision this year... though I am kind of bummed because Target has tons of great prints!
