who wants to pack for me?

Hello, hello!!!!

Today I confess for humpday confessions that I am not a fan of people who brag about how busy they are and how they don't have any free time blah blah blah....buttttt I also confess that that is exactly what I am going to do today because it's my blog and I can be annoying if I want to. Let's talk about what my week looks like, ok?

Monday: Get to my regular place of employment at 6am. Leave early for new hire training at the gym until 5pm.

Tuesday: Get to work at 6am and stay until 5pm. Happy Hour with my lady friends....where I left my credit card at the restaurant and didn't realize it until I was all the way home and had to go back and get it. wa wahhhh

Wednesday: Work at 6am. Training from 1-5pm. My last round of golf lessons that night. More on that at a later date.

Thursday: Work at 6am. Amos Lee Concert at the Oregon Zoo that night. OH EM GEEEEEEEEE.

Friday: Work at 6am. Fly out to Indiana for 9 days that afternoon.

So my question to you all is....Where do I find time to pack for this trip?!?!!?!? No really, who wants to do  my laundry, get my life in order, and pack for me?! Because ain't nobody got time for that around here. How does one even pack for 90, humid, and thunder storms anyway? Rain I can handle, but humid.. I can't even.

Anyway, enough about me complaining, because honestly, I am not even complaining. I am loving the gym so far. I can't wait for it to open to the public, even if I am nervous to start actually training. I am ready for vacation. The weather has been great here and things are going well in my life. I just don't have time to pack... I suppose I can attempt to do it when I am trying to come down from the greatness that is Amos Lee's concert tomorrow night. I hear sleep is for the birds anyway.

In other news, I purchased a few books on nutrition the other night and am really excited to start them on my vacation! Has anyone read any of these? What are your thoughts.

Why are you coming to Indiana when I won't be in Indiana??!! This is the saddest confessional ever. :(

You know how 'great' I am at packing.....sike! I'd say try and make a list!

And you sound SO like me, never enough time before vacation. Trying to get ready for my Alaska/Canada trip was awful, I was soooo busy! But, I know you can do it :)!

I've been intrigued by the book Wheat Belly....let me know what you think.

When I read the title I was going to say, I love packing; packing is fun; I'll do it! But after reading about how jam packed your week is, damnnn! "No time for packing" packing is not so fun.... Night before and sleep on the flight? Good luck!!

I am wildly jealous that you're going to see Amos Lee! I've found I pack pretty well under pressure, but I always forget either underwear or a toothbrush, so I'd suggest you pack those first!

My mom was just telling me about Wheat Belly when she was in town! But mostly it made me sad because freaking everything contains wheat. and damn girl your week is packed!

I've been wanting to read some more good nutrition books, I will be looking forward to hearing your thoughts on these :) Well, if I could actually help you pack I would, however Oklahoma is a long ways away, so good luck!

I haven't read any of those books, but I have heard good things about Wheat Belly, but because I actually have celiacs I didn't think I would need to read a book about wheat etc.
Indiana, fun! It is humid as heck here. Whereabouts are you going to be / what are you doing? I'm only over the river...

I'll pack for you and do your laundry if you will be my trainer? yess...yes??? =P

When you find someone to do your laundry will you send them my way? Also in humidity, short dresses are your friend. Do not, I reapeat, DO NOT go for anything maxi because it will just hold all the heat up in there. Unless you'll be indoors, then it's a moot point.

Look forward to hearing what you thought of your books! Have you read Grain Brain? I hear it's really good if you are interested in how grain/wheat effects the body and our minds.

Have so much fun in Indiana for 9 days! That sounds lovely:)

Cheers,
Alyson

You may be onto something. Start a business of people who pack for other people.. oh wait.. youd have to have time to do that.

Your week seems cray cray girl but I know you can make it through! How you can function let alone work at 6 am is beyond my comprehension!

Packing is the worst. Scratch that... Unpacking is the worst.

I've never read any of those! Let me know which ones I should read after you're done. :) At least your busy is all good busy! Can we go to a concert when I come visit?

Kudos to you for being able to be at work at 6am! That is pretty freaking early, and I can't even function at that time of day. Also, I would totally help you out if you lived closer.
