today I confess how much i love ramen

Happy sleepy Wednesday, guys. I am quite happy it is HumpDay Confessions with Kathy today, because I am too tired to creative a thought provoking post...I say that like my posts are ever thought provoking. Anyway, these are my confessions...

Confessions by City and Colour on Grooveshark

/Bradley tends to fall asleep much faster than I do and it really annoys me sometimes - read: all times. When this happens I will keep talking to him on purpose just to keep him awake because I can't fall asleep yet. I am a perfect girlfriend. This might have happened last night after we got back late last night from my sister's graduation.

//I confess: I got super nostalgic for my sister, but did not cry at her high school graduation last night. Go me!

//I confess: no matter how proud and happy I was for my sister yesterday. I still got very bored at her graduation. Also, I get really antsy, like a child, when I have to sit in the same chair for hours.

//I confess: I would never let my daughter wear the majority of the outfits I saw teen girls wearing last night.

//I confess: on the way to work yesterday a big piece of cardboard flew up in front of my car and windshield. I might have closed my eyes and turned my head due to it startling me....because that is totally the safest move to make while driving on the freeway. Obviously my flight, not fight, response really kicked in there.

//I confess: this morning on the way to work as I was merging onto the freeway someone came within inches of slamming into me because they didn't check their blind spot. My fight response actually kicked in this time and I used my horn... which never happens

//I confess:: after the past two mornings I should probably just stay off the freeway for a bit...OR better yet someone should drive me to work.

//I confess: last night Brad and I planned to grab dinner before my sister's graduation. I should have been embarrassed by how excited I was to go out to eat on a week night. The little things people. Plus, we were having Ramen. I love ramen. You would have thought I was carbo loading for a marathon yesterday. Nope just Ramen on a week night.

//I confess: when I am early and waiting for Brad I take selfies.

//I confess: when I am running late to work, I still take selfies. I also wear bright ass pants to distract from my tired eyeballs.

//Lastly, I confess: after looking at this post in preview, I realized that my photo quality is not good due to the fact that I auto size all my photos. I should probably fix this, but I probably won't. That is low brow, Brooke.

Vodka and Soda

Cheers!

my little sister is growing up

Eeeeeek. So my little sister is graduating high school tonight and I can't handle it. She is supposed to be the little baby of the family still - not a beautiful, young woman. Being the oldest and wisest of 4 children I sometimes take on the role of 3rd parent - which my siblings hate. As the 3rd parent I have come to the realization that none of my siblings are little any more...Especially Brittany. Brittany and I have something special going on.  I think you have to form a special bond when you have two brothers in between. Us females have to stick together.

Brittany is stubborn. She is smart. She is strong. And she only reads my blog when it's about her. She has gone through not 1, but 2 ACL surgeries during her high school basketball career and yet she still has a positive attitude. She is basically a rock star.

Over the weekend we got together with family and friends to celebrate her achievement and tonight we head to the graduation. I will confess tomorrow whether or not I cried.

Also you can check out her, senior photos that my fabulous friend Anne Blodgett took, here

Can't wait to see all the great things you do in college and beyond, sis!

Cheers to Brittany!!!
