why blog question mark

Why blog? I often get that question a lot from my non-blogger friends. I also get:

::What's the point of blogging?
::What do you blog about?
::How do you always have content to write about?

.... you get the idea.

For me, what keeps me blogging is wanting to share things that inspire me, things that make me laugh, music that makes me smile, workouts that keep me healthy, and ideas that make me think, with other people.

My biggest blogging 'inspirations' definitely come from small things in my daily life, music, yummy food, fitness, places on the internet like buzzfeed and thought catalog, and most importantly other bloggers you betches are funny. I hope I am half as entertaining as all the blogs I read.

Blogging, although it can be time consuming, keeps me creative and I love that.  It keeps me creative with my non-blogging activities (need to have something to post about later, amiright?!) Creative with my content and writing, and creative with my topics.  Plus, blogging helps take my somewhat average life and forces me to focus on the good that comes with it.

Happy to be linking up with Helene and Sarah today.

What inspires you?!

<3 BB

I completely agree with you. I love how creative the blog keeps me while sitting at the computer or while out living my life. And by living my life, I mean working on new content for the blog.

fitness definitely inspires me; in fact i've had to tone it down because at one point, that's *all* i blogged about and i think i was probably losing readers!

Love all of these. I feel like blogging helps me focus. When I sit down to write, whatever's on my mind comes out. Then when I'm done, it's all wrapped up neat (messy) and I can set it aside and put it out of my head.

Amen to the positivity aspect. I also take many more photos that I used to and I find myself seeking new experiences because they will be good blog material!

Love this. Man... I sometimes wonder if I am just crazy for putting it all there on the internet. Am I so vain to think that others might wanna read it? Yep, you betcha. I love reading other people's blogs. There might be one lone soul out there that might wanna read about my ideas, thoughts, happenings. Great post... and, keep blogging! I love reading.

Buzzfeed lists totally inspire me to create funny content! I also think that other bloggers serve as a constant source of inspiration and re-assurance, as in "will this be dumb? mmm probs not, so and so did something like this before."

As all of the other readers have said, you're totally right! There is such joy in blogging. Not to mention a fun little community like the one we have right here to gain all of those things you listed above! Blogging is beautiful :)
