Scenes from snowlandia

My weekend was boring. There I said it, the snow was gorgeous and I loved the winter feel, but cabin fever is a real thing. We did venture out and go walks each day, we attempted to go the gym, but it was closed. EVERYTHING was closed. We watched a lot of the Olympics. We got really competitive playing Monopoly Deal - you would have thought it was an Olympic Sport in our house. I didn't brush my hair, nor did I wear makeup once. I had a singular dreadlock to prove it when I tried to actually do my hair this morning. We ate a lot of this soup. We had hot chocolate. I read a bit. I got caught up on Sherlock and now I have to wait and it makes me really, really, really sad.... You know, your standard snowed in activities.

Cheers to snow! Now make this slushie brown crap and freezing rain go away!

I almost cried when it snowed here...but luckily it all melted within 24 hours. But your snow pictures are prettier enough to make me want it back again!

Despite how the snow has a tendency to trap people at home....those pictures are beautiful! And that soup. That soup looks amazing!

At least you had the Olympics to keep you company though right? And it was pretty...

Not brushing your hair and not wearing makeup once sounds like the perfect weekend to me!

I hate it when the whole world closes because it snowed. It sounds like you made the most of it though!

But your pictures came out really cute, so there's that. Also I want to make that soup now because it's freezing here and you made it look so yummy :)

Sounds just about like what we do whenever there is snow on the ground, ha ha! I much prefer to stay inside and stay warm than venture out in it, but John and Carson usually drag me out of the house to play in it.

I get cabin fever after like 3 hours. I dont know what I'd do with a couple days or more of it. You handled it much better than I would.

It does make for beautiful pictures though.

If you don't want things to be closed when it snows, come to Canada. I'm there too. Ktnx.

The snow looks so pretty in the woods! But where I live it has usually been too cold to actually go outside in it for very long at all.

Beautiful pictures, though. Cabin fever is a thing, but hey, at least you did something with it. :)
