Things I learned this weekend

Ok, so here's the deal, guys, Katie, from I'm You Katie Que, does one of my favorite type of weekend recaps and I wanted to steal her idea. So without further adieu - here are a few things I learned this weekend.

//Oregon weather has a harder time making up its mind than I do. At the meet on Saturday, we had rain, rain, more rain, lots of wind, and sun all in the same 15 min span. Mostly it was rain and wind though.

//3 courses of Fondue will make you full.

//Sugar gives me a head ache

//Urban Fondue is delicious

//So is melted cheese.

//Cheese hurts my stomach.

//My clean eating was anything but during our fondue time for Portland Dining Month at Urban Fondue.

//The soundtrack to Divergent is legit.

//Movies just don't get everything from the books. I mean Divergent tried and I really like the movie - but it just couldn't come close to my love for the book (which I finished over the weekend, so I could go see the move.)

//The name Tobias will forever remind me of never nudes.

//I would like to see Tobias from Divergent in a pair of never nudes.

//I love clean sheet night.

//I hate doing laundry

Happy Monday!

Urban Fondue is bomb.com. Also what are your thoughts on eating raw foods diet??? Thinking of switching for about a month.

I love fondue! It always reminds me of that 70's show for some reason.

and clean sheets win at life.

I also love clean sheet night and if I ever win the lottery it will happen every night!

Thank you for spelling adieu correctly. I hate when bloggers say screw it and write "ado." Just no. Now I am thinking of Tobias showering in his cutoffs, so thanks for that.

I wish it didn't take so long to wash and put the sheets back on the bed...because that is the best feeling ever!!

Fondue looks delicious!!! Mmmm mmmm mmm!!!!

Weather around these parts can't decide what it wants to do either! It was 30 degrees this morning and will warm up to 72. That is 40 degrees in just a few hours?! Ridiculous! You can't dress for weather like that!

I love this idea for a weekend recap. I just did a photo recap for my weekend. :) I've also been meaning to read Divergent so that I can go see the movie. I think I'll start today. :D

i can't hear the name tobias and not immediately shout FUNKE. Never Nude. I blue myself. Annnnd I'm going to rewatch all of Arrested Development now.

haha, never nudes! Thanks for the shout out, girl :)

Speaking of laundry - do you ever wear your gym clothes more than once before washing? The amount of laundry I have at all times is sickening and I want to avoid it.

What a fun way to recap the weekend, but mine would have looked so lazy that I don't think I'd do it justice.

Yay for books being better than movies!

Clean sheet nights are the best! And so is fondue! And so is Divergent!

Basically, great weekend for you :)

LMAO at Tobias in never nudes. I'd pay to see that, too ;)

Ooo I so love fondue!

The movies are never ever as good as the books but it's just another way to enjoy the journey in my opinion.

I still haven't seen the Divergent movie though... can not wait!

Clean sheets are THE best. Got my laundry on yesterday too and even though I hate making the bed it's always worth it!!

clean sheet night is the best but like you i hate doing laundry which isn't good when you have a baby and he has a 4am blowout meaning everything down to the mattress pad cover was soiled, yay for more laundry! hope my son cleans his clean sheet night tonight

I am going to check out the Divergent soundtrack right now! Thanks for that, haha. Just happened to come across your blog and glad I did! Looking forward to reading more <3

The soundtrack is so awesome. During the movie, I kept telling myself that I need to buy this soundtrack. SO GOOD.

And I agree with you about the movie not coming close to what the book was. I give the movie a 7 out of 10, because it was still entertaining.

And you can't forget about Theo ;)

What a fun weekend recap! I love that you shared the things you learned. Cheese hates me but I love it. It kills my stomach every time ha ha. I've always wanted to go to a melting pot/fondue type of place. Washington weather is crazy bipolar too! Ugh. I love, love, loved Divergent! Sure it wasn't as good as the book, but it was still awesome. Imo ;D

I had the same thought when I read Divergent! Tobias Funke is the only Tobias I want to hear about.
