today I confess how much i love ramen

Happy sleepy Wednesday, guys. I am quite happy it is HumpDay Confessions with Kathy today, because I am too tired to creative a thought provoking post...I say that like my posts are ever thought provoking. Anyway, these are my confessions...

Confessions by City and Colour on Grooveshark

/Bradley tends to fall asleep much faster than I do and it really annoys me sometimes - read: all times. When this happens I will keep talking to him on purpose just to keep him awake because I can't fall asleep yet. I am a perfect girlfriend. This might have happened last night after we got back late last night from my sister's graduation.

//I confess: I got super nostalgic for my sister, but did not cry at her high school graduation last night. Go me!

//I confess: no matter how proud and happy I was for my sister yesterday. I still got very bored at her graduation. Also, I get really antsy, like a child, when I have to sit in the same chair for hours.

//I confess: I would never let my daughter wear the majority of the outfits I saw teen girls wearing last night.

//I confess: on the way to work yesterday a big piece of cardboard flew up in front of my car and windshield. I might have closed my eyes and turned my head due to it startling me....because that is totally the safest move to make while driving on the freeway. Obviously my flight, not fight, response really kicked in there.

//I confess: this morning on the way to work as I was merging onto the freeway someone came within inches of slamming into me because they didn't check their blind spot. My fight response actually kicked in this time and I used my horn... which never happens

//I confess:: after the past two mornings I should probably just stay off the freeway for a bit...OR better yet someone should drive me to work.

//I confess: last night Brad and I planned to grab dinner before my sister's graduation. I should have been embarrassed by how excited I was to go out to eat on a week night. The little things people. Plus, we were having Ramen. I love ramen. You would have thought I was carbo loading for a marathon yesterday. Nope just Ramen on a week night.

//I confess: when I am early and waiting for Brad I take selfies.

//I confess: when I am running late to work, I still take selfies. I also wear bright ass pants to distract from my tired eyeballs.

//Lastly, I confess: after looking at this post in preview, I realized that my photo quality is not good due to the fact that I auto size all my photos. I should probably fix this, but I probably won't. That is low brow, Brooke.

Cheers!

I think that is just a general rule of thumb for men.....they can fall asleep in 3 seconds even when you are still mad and brooding next to them ;)

I love bright pants. They are my favorite. I also get SUPER antsy sitting for long periods of time. I can rarely sit through a whole movie!

I haven't had ramen in a looooong time. It used to be my go-to soup when I was feeling sick tho.
I hope your freeway driving experiences improve--sounds like it's been quite scary lately. (I think anyone would have flinched at something flying at their windshield, so you're not alone there!) :)

I think that when I see teen girls too, I always feel old after I think that though.

Ugh, hos be looking like hos, barf! My mother wouldn't have let me out of the house if I dressed like kids do now.

I take selfies when I'm waiting on the boy in my life too, men.

And speaking of men, he's asleep in .5 seconds after he goes to bed. me, it's like foreverrrrrrr.

Ramen is like soup of the gods. I used to work at a sushi restaurant and the owners always made masive amount of Ramen with lots of spice (we always called it spicy water) could never get enough of that!

I usually fall asleep pretty quickly unless I try to go to bed when I am not tired at all.

One time when my friend was driving, she ducked and almost wrecked us when a bird flew into the windshield. I screamed for like 5 minutes. damn birds.

I love those bright pants!

I do zero editing to my photos because I am super lazy. Oops.

I have the same thoughts when I see teen girls...or preteens even...these days. I wouldn't let my daughter leave her BEDROOM like that, let alone go out in public.

I miss Asian foods. I'm extremely soy intolerant and they put soy sauce in freaking EVERYTHING. That ramen looks heavenly!

How bout you stay off the freeway for a little while? That's one too many close calls for me.

I need to know where you got those bright ass pants from? They are awfully cute... and well, bright obviously.

Mmm. I love ramen. I always want to say yes to salty carbs. I hate being on a diet.

I think graduations are just the last poke in the eye a school gives you before you leave. We're going to give you a super strict dress. We're going to make you do all these lame standardize tests. We're going to have you write all these papers and take these tests that don't matter. And when you're done? We're going to have a super long, boring graduation.

Ugh driving is crazy! I always freak out when a huge truck comes by and splashes water on my windshield. As far as I'm concerned it might of well been a tsunami.

ramen is my go to meal when i lived in japan to warm my soul on a cold day. there is something about a steaming bowl of noodles and broth that soothes the soul

There is a ramen food truck near my work you would love!!

Teen girls dress like straight up SKANKS these days, I swear.
You and Pete need to have a ramen eating contest... he can legit eat 4 in one sitting. I don't know whether or not I should be disgusted or impressed.

When we went to the carnival last weekend I was shocked at what some of the young girls were wearing! My friend told me I was acting like such a grandma ha ha. But still!
That ramen looks delicious!

Okay so first, where in the hell did you get those amazing, hot pink pants? I need them! I also have the same reaction when I see teens these days...they have shorts that look like jean diapers they're so short with those dumb crop tops....because that's totally the best thing to wear to school....*facepalm

Girrllll, I am a fellow ramen lover! There is a restaurant by me and everything on their menu incorporates ramen... I haven't been there yet, but I'm looking forward to it!

I'm so happy you didn't have anything horrible come from the cardboard or the asshole. Stay off the road!

loveee those bright pants. but your legs are better looking than mine, so they wouldn't look that great on me.

graduations are the worst. i'm so glad that i won't be going to any for a veryyy long time.

my confession is that i think i've only had ramen once, and it's the kind that comes in that foam container? or maybe it's plastic. top ramen, right?
