derby shenanigans

Because I know you were all curious, my horse, Orb, won the Derby on Saturday. We decided to do a blind draw out of a hat for the big race and I took home all the winnings! Well, minus the $20.00 that Bradley put in the pot. The turdface took it back when he realize I was the winner.  I suppose I should be mad at him, but then he did take me out to sushi with Dan the Man and Jessi last night, so I won't complain too much. Who am I kidding, I'm still complaining.

Our Cinco de Derby Party was quite the success! I might be biased though?

There were plenty of shenanigans to be had. Including enchiladas, margs, and betting on horses!

What more could you ask for?!

Oh, and perfect weather! We didn't even ask for that and it graced us with its presence.

Obviously, give it two thumbs up.

My sister missed the memo on dressing up for Derby, but we let it slide.

The big ass hat made its way around the party. She's a slut like that.

Of course Brad couldn't sit still during the race. Standing didn't help him win though.

How were your cindo de derby shenanigans?!

So sad we missed it - looks like fun and everyone looks great! I think we should wear big hats more often... and go to sushi more often too!

You look like you had the best weekend. So sad I had to work while everyone was watching the derby. I have tons of hats I need to wear.

Ahhh that is SO exciting. I'm obsessed with Derby hats and dream of the day when I'll see it in person...but I don't think I'd ever watch it on TV...sounds like something that would be boring unless you're actually there?
