About Time

Ok, so you know how yesterday I raved about the movie, About Time?! Well I think part of the reason I liked the movie so much was the soundtrack. It just blended perfectly with the story. It never overpowered the movie, but each track helped create the perfect mood for each scene. I figured today I would share the soundtrack if you want to give it a listen.

Hands down my favorite on the album is Into My Arms by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. This Gold In Them Hills track by Ron Sexsmith is a close second and you can never go wrong with The Luckiest by Ben Folds. I think Shay would agree with my choices, especially since she was the one to send me multiple tracks from the movie soundtrack after she saw it for the first time (Thanks Shay!). Music will forever tell a story and it definitely helped tell the story in About Time

Now go watch the movie. And go watch it again if you've already seen it

Cheers!

I will now switch to this from the new Katy Perry that I was trying to listen to (so far not a fan of it...). I already like a few of these songs!

Friday I'm in Love is my jam.

I haven't seen About Time, but I need to. I heard I'll cry for the last 30-40 minutes, guaranteed.

I want to see this. And 75% of the time I'm not a rom-com kinda gal. But I keep hearing such good things about it!

I want to see that movie, and I love movies with a solid sound track. I feel like that can make or break a movie

I just saw this movie last night and literally babbled to everyone I've seen since about how wonderful the film and soundtrack are. What a fate moment that I discovered your blog on this particular post. Swoon my soul movie soundtrack. Right up there next to The Holiday and 500 days of Summer soundtracks.
